Hi everyone! 

 There are a lot of events coming up! In this issue you will find information on Giving Tuesday, International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, Paramedic Nat's Mental Health Evening and the Start Talking Cup. REMEMBER: click the images to visit websites for further information about the event and find FMHI's social media links in the images too!

If you would like ongoing support here are places you can contact. To have 24/7 support, Crisis Services at 705-728-5044 will get you to speak with a live mental health professional. You may also see them in-person by calling the same number and ask for a mobile service.

To inquire about services at Canadian Mental Health Association of Simcoe County, you may call and speak with the On-Duty Worker Monday-Friday (9am-4pm) at 705-726-5033, anyone can also walk-in, without an appointment, and speak with the On-Duty Worker at 88 Mulcaster St., second floor.

Family members interested in speaking with an addiction counselor may contact the On-Duty Worker for this service at 705-726-5033.

911 is always available for immediate, emergency service.

Paramedic Nat's

2nd Annual Evening for Mental Health

Natalie Harris is a local Advanced Care Paramedic. Paramedic Nat was the first to arrive at the Travelodge in Barrie and entered the hotel room where two women were deceased and a man was alive whereby she provided immediate medical care. Paramedic Nat talks openly about her lived experience with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder after this incident. She wrote the book "Save-My-Life School: A first responders mental health journey."
