MAY ISSUE
Hi everyone!
It has been a very busy Spring season this year. Four family educational programs were offered in Orillia, Midland, Collingwood and Barrie with 47 family members registered for the programs. If you're not familiar with the two educational programs for family member and might be interested in attending the next programs in the Fall of 2016, please visit online to learn more, click here. Please feel free to contact me, Tara Maxwell, anytime with questions you have about these programs at tmaxwell@cmhastarttalking.ca
I also participated with Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care in their Access to Care family session on wait times. Sessions were offered throughout North Simcoe Muskoka and family members attended to provide their feedback on ways the waiting period can be improved and they shared their ideas and ways to do that. A grateful thank you to every family member who took the time to participate, it is greatly appreciated!
There are also other events and fun ways to participate and support mental health and addiction service in North Simcoe Muskoka. The Annual Walk for Suicide Awareness and the 5th Annual Start Talking Golf Tournament with Shayne Corson. I have posted the flyers for these events below in this e-notice.
I hope everyone has safe, fun and wonderful Victoria Day - Enjoy the long weekend!
