Every day, more than 3 million Ontarians provide support to loved ones facing illnesses, mental health issues, disabilities or challenges associated with aging. On April 3, we recognize and value their care for Family Caregiver Day. Thank you to all who support loved ones with domestic care, emotional support, personal care, and more.

Did you know? There are almost 500,000 family caregivers in Ontario who are 15-24 years old. Young caregivers often provide an average of 14 hours of care per week.

375,000 caregivers in Ontario are 65 years and older. Thank you family caregivers for all you do everyday!
