Happy New Year!! It's 2019 and we're beginning the new year with educational programs, support groups and there's a hockey event! You can now register for the "Family & Friends Connected: Educational Program" which will be in Barrie. To support family caregivers whose schedules make it difficult to attend evening programs. I am offering this program in the morning. It will be from 10:00am - 12:00pm. The poster with link to the website for more information is listed below.

The Barrie Family Support Group will be meeting for the first group in 2019 on Tuesday, January 8. The 2019 schedule for the Barrie Family Support Group is posted below. If you would like ongoing support here are places you can contact. To have 24/7 support, Crisis Services at 705-728-5044 will get you to speak with a live mental health professional. You may also see them in-person by calling the same number and ask for a mobile service.
To inquire about services at Canadian Mental Health Association of Simcoe County, you may call and speak with the On-Duty Worker Monday-Friday (9am-4pm) at 705-726-5033, anyone can also walk-in, without an appointment, and speak with the On-Duty Worker at 88 Mulcaster St., second floor.
Family members interested in speaking with an addiction counselor may contact the On-Duty Worker for this service at 705-726-5033.
