As we near the end of summer and head into the fall season, events and programs will be starting up again. You can now register to attend the Wasaga Beach "Addiction & Mental Health: A Family Education Program. Scroll down for further details.
There will be a family program offered in Barrie. I will send out the poster September 6, 2018 when I am accepting registrations for fall participants.
The Barrie Family Support Group will be changing to a new location starting in September. Updates are found below, for further information on this support group, contact the facilitator Elizabeth Marshall.
CMHA Simcoe County is hosting their 2nd Annual "Keep Talking" Gala in support of the Youth Shine Campaign. Tickets are available. Scroll down and click the images for further details.
If you would like ongoing support here are places you can contact. To have 24/7 support, Crisis Services at 705-728-5044 will get you to speak with a live mental health professional. You may also see them in-person by calling the same number and ask for a mobile service.
To inquire about services at Canadian Mental Health Association of Simcoe County, you may call and speak with the On-Duty Worker Monday-Friday (9am-4pm) at 705-726-5033, anyone can also walk-in, without an appointment, and speak with the On-Duty Worker at 88 Mulcaster St., second floor.
Family members interested in speaking with an addiction counselor may contact the On-Duty Worker for this service at 705-726-5033.
911 is always available for immediate, emergency service.
