This week, May 1 - 7, 2017 is Canadian Mental Health Association's National Mental Health Week. The theme this year is to #GETLOUD. In this issue I will have a link to the website for the campaign.
All of the education programs for the Spring are now full. I am no longer accepting registrations. The programs will be offered again in September. It is in August that I circulate through this e-notice the posters so you can register, Please feel free to subscribe if you don't already.
Canadian Mental Health Association of Simcoe County is hosting their 6th Annual Start Talking Golf Tournament. To register, scroll below and click the image to go to their website.
If you would like ongoing support here are places you can contact. To have 24/7 support, Crisis Services at 705-728-5044 will get you to speak with a live mental health professional. You may also see them in-person by calling the same number and ask for a mobile service.
To inquire about services at Canadian Mental Health Association of Simcoe County, you may call and speak with the On-Duty Worker Monday-Friday (9am-4pm) at 705-726-5033, anyone can also walk-in, without an appointment, and speak with the On-Duty Worker at 88 Mulcaster St., second floor.
Family members interested in speaking with an addiction counselor may contact the On-Duty Worker for this service at 705-726-5033.
911 is always available for immediate, emergency service.
