I am offering a program in Barrie. It will begin later in the fall season, I will be circulating that poster in late September.
Have you heard about Mental Health First Aid? There is a training opportunity available in November. For more details, I have included the poster in this issue.
Interested to support a local charity and get your car washed at the same time? You can! On Friday, August 12th, CMHA Simcoe County is hosting their annual car wash and bbq fundraiser. The poster listed in this issue will have the details on location and time.
Do you know someone who experiences mood disorders difficulties? I have included the poster which lists the date, time, location and contact information for anyone interested in attending.
If you would like ongoing support here are places you can contact. To have 24/7 support, Crisis Services at 705-728-5044 will get you to speak with a live mental health professional. You may also see them in-person by calling the same number and ask for a mobile service.
To inquire about services at Canadian Mental Health Association of Simcoe County, you may call and speak with the On-Duty Worker Monday-Friday (9am-4pm) at 705-726-5033, anyone can also walk-in, without an appointment, and speak with the On-Duty Worker at 88 Mulcaster St., second floor.
Family members interested in speaking with an addiction counselor may contact the On-Duty Worker for this service at 705-726-5033.
911 is always available for immediate, emergency service.
