Chasing Light

Finding a Way Out of the Shadows

Carla Harmer is the author of the book Chasing Light: Finding a Way Out of the Shadows. Tara Maxwell had the pleasure to work along side Carla in a community partner capacity for a decade when Carla worked as the Coordinator for the Council of Consumer/Survivor and Family Initiatives in Muskoka Region. Carla wrote a book about her personal lived experiences with anxiety and depressive symptoms. In her book, Carla shares the challenges and also the techniques that helped her move toward living a life of wellness.
